1.Respond to Ayn Rand’s quote, “Everyone would do better if each of us pursued only own our rational self interest.” Do you agree with this assertion? Why or why not.
2. “Not all moralities—sets of moral principles that a person or a society holds—are equally reasonable, fair, or free of some other moral defect.” This means that not everyone has the same morals. Give one example of this. Include your thoughts on the issue.
Example: Some people do not eat meat because they believe it is morally wrong to do so. They believe that animals have feelings, and who are humans to kill and eat animals.
Personal viewpoint: I still eat meat but do feel guilty about it. I believe there will come a time that I don’t eat meat at all.
