Write a research paper that is 500 to 750 words in length answering the prompt you will find below. Your paper will be supplemented by three additional references. Out of these three references, at least two must be peer-reviewed articles and one may be from an approved media source or governmental website (approved sources are listed below).
APA format will be used through entirety of the paper. A title and reference page are required, as per APA guidelines. All references will be in APA format (there should be at least four). All paraphrased or quoted text will have an in-text citation and a corresponding reference that follows APA format. The paper will be saved as a Word document and submitted through Turnitin.
Approved media sources: The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, BBC, The Economist, The New Yorker, The Associated Press, Reuters, The Atlantic, any website that ends with .gov.
Prompt: Choose a disaster event (it can be the same disaster you wrote about in your previous writing assignment). Research how communities impacted by the disaster used their networks to respond and recover from the disaster. Identify which concept of social capital is being utilized and how effective was the use. Explain how these actions helped or hurt community resiliency during and after the disaster
