Spend some time researching your topic. The requirement for sources for the report are:
- Business Idea & Rationale section: 3 academic sources that help show your audience WHY your idea is a good idea. Think: benefits, current market/industry, a current problem that exists that your company might help to solve, etc.
- Competition: 4 competitor websites. You will use these to see what is currently available and show how you will fit into that market. What will you offer that others don’t? How you compare to what is already there? Make sure you are thinking about location here.
- Target Market & Marketing Plan: 2 academic sources, 1 for the target market and 1 for the marketing plan. Show why the audience and channels you chose are appropriate. You could potentially use something like census.gov or https://censusreporter.org/ (Links to an external site.)for the audience source to show who exists in your specific demographic.
*When choosing sources, you must have solid, reliable sources. Using personal blogs or unknown websites will not count towards the required sources. You should use the LRC to find sources, with the exception of the competitor websites. You cannot use online sources, unless otherwise directed, like with the competitor websites.
Create an APA formatted reference list with a minimum of 9 sources (see requirements above).
