Taking Power over your relationship
1. Often in courses such as these, a lot of time is spent discussing the dysfunctionality of relationships rather than how to construct positive patterns. For this assignment you will be transforming the wheel of power and control. Read each piece of the wheel closely, then you need to flip the negative behavior pattern into a positive one. You may not be able to find an exact opposite, but you absolutely can find a positive replacement for the negative one.
2. Your wheel needs to contain all the sections that the above wheel has including the center, each piece of the wheel, and the headers on the outermost part of the wheel.
3. You can create a graphic on a word document or a hand drawn construction. It can be turned in during class or submitted to canvas. I encourage you to be creative and thoughtful. When the wheel is finished you have essentially created a template for healthy relationship that should be consulted when assessing the quality of any relationship that you may have.
4. Rubric:
.a. 12 points for replacing the central text with positive behaviors
.b. 6 points for replacing the outer headers with positive categories
.c. 2 points for the center title of the wheel
