As a Christian life coach, I will need to be always connected to the guidance of the Holy Spirit remembering that I will be tool, God will come first the cochee second the ability to apply the knowledge next and for last the coach . The practice of humility , empathy and listener needs to be the primary characteristics of the coach in order to create the atmosphere where the coachee will feel comfort to open up and trust the process. The coach will be leading by the Holy Spirit having the discernment to be in rapport with the coachee with vulnerability and compassion and the ethic and boundaries needs to be clear at the first meeting/ session.
When the professional upfront let the coachee to understand the process and is very clear of the do and don’ts’s he will be setting boundaries and being ethical to avoid harmful situations for both parties. The coach needs to be able to referral the client for a psychologist or psychiatric if identify that the client situation will be require a therapy or any other type of intervention that cannot be solve with the coach skills this is also ethical and honesty.
The ethical of confidentiality ,accountability, financially responsibility and the respect of the coachee’s worldview or cultural difference is essential for the success of the process, the boundaries of avoid intimacy, exchange services, contact out of the sessions and sexual contact are the posture that is expected from the professional in life coach.
The client that gets involve emotionally with his coach will be in the high risk to be broke mentally, and spiritually losing the propose of the processes in life and in Christ (Webb,2019).

Boundaries are limits or rules that we set for ourselves that should not be crossed by anyone. As a young adult, I am understanding what boundaries really mean and setting some for myself. Setting boundaries in our personal life is important; so it is also vital when coaching. As a coach it is important to know what is off-limits with your client and the client should know what is off-limits with the coach. As a coach the first thing I would bring to the table is a coaching contract or a consent form. In that form I will discuss the roles and rules for the relationship my client and I would have. Doing this will set clear boundaries and expectations. When coaching I will always be professional, respectful, and making sure I am only helping my client to achieve their goals.
A therapeutic relationship with a client is a must. This means that there is a connection and trust in the coaching relationship. To make that connection with my client I would first have a warm and inviting office. I believe that this allows a person to relax a little and become comfortable. The next thing I would do to build a connection with my client is to show them that my office is a nonjudgmental environment. That I am there to listen first and then help guide them to their goals (Blackaby & Royall, 2018). Another way I would build a connection is understanding who my client is and asking rapport building questions to help build that connection with them.
