Formats: 1. Formal report in modified APA style using at least 3 appropriate sources.

2. Presentation to class using PowerPoint.

Report Content: Presents researched information that analyzes a business-related situation. While your main purpose is to be informative and analytical, you will end with a section of conclusions based on an analysis of lessons learned from the information you discovered.

Audience: You are writing/ presenting to classmates and Mrs. Loden. You will provide information based on the expertise of this audience.

Topics Ideas:

How has a company dealt with innovation or change? Is it an industry leader in this area, or not? Is there an example of wild success or failure in this area for the company?
Investigate and analyze the development, production, and marketing of a single product or technological innovation. You must do more than learn the history of what happened. Analyze the “how” and “why” certain decisions influenced the outcome, especially in terms of business success/failure.
Analyze and compare two or three companies in one category of interest to you: ethics, corporate governance, green policies, quality control, innovation, hiring methods, employment practices, etc.
Pick competing companies, one you “love” and one you “hate.” Analyze their brands, discovering and explaining their concrete differences. Is there evidence that other customers agree with you? What are the implications for the brands?
