Create a Presentation on Diagnosing the Need for Change
For this task, imagine you have been asked to prepare an executive-level presentation for the CEO of a technology firm and its leadership team. This organization is facing a quickly changing market and has hired you to help manage the effort to evolve in the right direction. Because these are senior executives, your presentation must be clear, succinct, and extremely practical. Be sure to cover the following in your presentation:
Summarize the challenges this organization may be facing. What level(s) of change is necessary based on these challenges (e.g., organization, group, individual)?
Identify what steps you plan to take to diagnose the need for change.
Determine which instruments you will consider using in your diagnostic efforts.
Determine how you will plan to provide feedback to the organizational stakeholders, based on the diagnostic information you gather.
Create the PowerPoint presentation as though you are trying to secure the senior executives’ commitment to your recommended approach.
Incorporate appropriate animations, transitions, and graphics as well as “speaker notes” for each slide. The speaker notes may be comprised of brief paragraphs or bulleted lists.
