Problem Statement
This example of a one page extended abstract presents the format that students should follow when preparing their abstract for submission for the restaurant crowdfunding project. First level headings (i.e., Problem Statement, Potential Solutions, and Discussion/Implication) are flush left, bold, written in 12). The body text begins immediately after the heading and is single-spaced, 12, Times New Roman. A paragraph after a heading is not indented, but a paragraph after a paragraph is indented.
In Problem Statement, identify one problem on restaurant crowdfunding from an entrepreneur’s point of view, a backer’s point of view, a crowdfunding platform’s point of view, or a community’s point of view. Choose one party’s view point. Browsing multiple crowdfunding platforms such as Nextseed, Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and so on is highly encouraged to learn about crowdfunding. Then read various related materials including but not limited to journal articles. Explain why the problem is significant with examples and supporting data.

Potential Solutions
Based on the problem identified, come up with two or three solutions that can help solve the problem. Be specific for each solution with convincing argument and supporting evidences. Provide examples from other sources or other industry/country’s cases if applicable. Explaining based on a theory or prior research is encouraged.
Each paragraph should only explain one solution. Start a new paragraph for a next solution. Clearly explain how the solutions can be implemented. Follow logical sequence; the solutions should be directly related to the problem identified above.
Please do not include tables, figures, or any other images in this abstract. Please try to avoid using special characters, or symbols in this abstract. Define abbreviations and acronyms wherever possible.

Discussion/Implication
In Discussion/Implication, describe how the suggested solutions can make impact on our society and help improve the situation.
