How different learning schedules impact children’s learning and memo
This topic is about how different learning schedules–called massing (kind of like cramming for an exam) and spacing (kind of like studying for an exam over the course of days or weeks)–are related children’s learning and memory.
Parts of the Research Proposal
The research proposal will be 7-9, double-spaced pages and include the following major sections: Title Page (1 page), Literature Review (6 paragraphs; 2-3 pages), Proposed Research Method (2-3 pages), Implications (approx. 1 page), and References (1 page).
The Title Page, Literature Review, Implications, and References will be written independently; that is, each member of the group will write their own title page, literature review, implications, and reference page. For your reference page, you will independently also find and cite at least 5 relevant, peer-reviewed research articles; these are the articles you will use in your Literature Review and Implications.
The Proposed Research Method will be written as a group; that is, every member of the group will have the exact same proposed research method.
No direct quotes are to be used in the paper, and when your paper is uploaded to TurnItIn (via Titanium), the individually-written parts of your paper must have a similarity index that totals to less than 25%. A detailed scoring rubric and guideline for each step is available below.
All drafts and the final research proposal must be submitted on Canvas.
The final research proposal will be penalized 10% for each weekday that they are late. No papers will be accepted for credit more than 3 weekdays beyond the due date, unless you have made prior arrangements with me.
