Global issues paper on any subject in the class

This paper should be 5 pages typed, double spaced, standard font and margins. In addition to the pages of text (5 pages), include a Works Cited page at the end. Works Cited and Title Pages are not included in the page count of the paper. Sources should be cited as standard practice for a research paper. You can use any specific citation style you want, such as APA, Chicago, or MLA.
Chose a topic related to trade and economics that is touched upon in this class and look into it further. For instance, the trade wars President Trump initiated have affected many industries. You could explore one of these or a group of industries. You also could look at the overall debate of protectionist versus free trade policies; however, be sure you show research not covered in the course. You could examine a global institution influencing global economics or China’s rise to economic power. Offer your policy advice for the US moving forward regarding economics. I know the economic recession created by the pandemic complicates the issue but try to focus on the core problem of how the US can continue to prosper economically in a global economy. Your topic may be narrow or broad as suits your interest.
