Discussion Board
In this final discussion board post, you will write 300-400 words in which you thoughtfully reflect on a lesson that you learned from one of the texts covered in the course. This can be any lesson that you want to carry with you moving forward—a lesson about life, literature, history, identity, culture, narrative, or any other specific lesson that you learned from the text, “Anowa”.
As always, your post should start with a quotation—in this case, a quote from any of the assigned texts this semester that allows you to thoughtfully reflect on a specific lesson that you learned from that text. As you think about the quote, the text, and any associated lectures, use your writing to think about how and why your text impacted you. What aspect(s) of the text impacted you the most? How and why did they impact you? What did the text teach you? How did it teach you? Why is the lesson it taught you important—one you want to remember in the future?
More than anything else, we want you to be thoughtful and reflective in this final post. And be specific! Rather than talking broadly about this text, make sure that your reflection is focused and thoughtful, drawing on details from the text and lectures when appropriate.
