This Discussion Board assignment will be accomplished in the form of a case study for the purpose of critically analyzing leadership traits and behaviors and to derive personal leadership development lessons for application.  In accomplishing this case study, you will compare and contrast the leadership traits and behaviors of aleader from the Bible and a leader from the aviation field. You will analyze 2 – 3 leadership traits; how these leaders responded to aethical or moral dilemma; how they executed Authority, Responsibility, and Accountability, and how their examples can apply to your own leadership development.

1. Select a person from the Bible (either Old Testament or New Testament times).
   1. Describe who this person was; describe 2 – 3 leadership traits, and describe and analyze how he/sheexercised leadership those traits and behaviors.
   2. Describea situation in which the person was faced with an ethical or moral dilemma, and critically analyze how the leader responded to the dilemma.
   3. Critically evaluate how the person exhibited leadership attributes and principles in the areas ofAuthority, Responsibility, and Accountability (ARA).

2. Select a leader from the aviationfield. The leader you choose will be the leader for your research paper, so you should also review the instructions for the Research Paper assignment.

3. Compare and contrast each person’s response and actions.
   1. Compare how each person responded to the situation in terms of ARA.
   2. Compare how each person responded to his/hersituation in terms of ethics and morals.
   3. Compare how each person exercised leadership traits in the situation.

4. From the case study analysis, derive 2 – 3 leadership lessons you can appy to your ownleadership development

5. Your Discussion Board Threadmust be a minimum of400words and you mustpost tworeplies of at least 200 words to two

6. Disccusion Board Replies must include the following elements (also see the grading rubric):
   1. Comments and feedback on the classmate’s analysis of the chosen leaders
   2. Comparison and contrast of the leaders you chose to the leaders the classmate chose
   3. Application of the leadership traits presented into own leadership development
