Directions: Each week, you will write a journal response after reading the assignment from the module. Each response journal should include three paragraphs, and each paragraph should contain a minimum of SEVEN sentences. The first paragraph is a summary, the second addresses the author’s style, and the third is a personal connection. Write your responses to all pieces of what we read from now until the end of the semester. Tell about your feelings, thoughts, reactions, questions, ideas actions, characters, settings, symbols, plot, theme, and any other things that interest you, or puzzle you, or mean something to you. Your response should be double-spaced, Times New Roman #12 font.
You will submit your journals twice a semester, once at midterm and once at the end. You should be working on these throughout the semester. Do NOT wait until the last minute to complete your journals! If you do, you’ll have A LOT of work to do all at once!
