a. My business plan Idea is to open and online store of natural organic skin care product for African American hair and skin.
b. Beauty is especially important for women. For years African American natural hair was not perceived as beautiful. Chemical and damaging hair routine were used to transform our natural curly hair to straight hair to be accepted as beautiful. In the past few years African American have learn to accept themselves as they are and to recognize the real beaty of their difference.
According to essence.com African American spend 1.2 trillion each year in hair and skin product and the number is predicted to rise in the upcoming years.
My company will use natural raw material originating from Africa such as shea butter, Argan oil, cocoa oil and much more to make product that are able to grow, maintain, nourish hair and skin.

a. Competition:
The main competition of my business is Karilor, co-Based in Burkina Faso. This is a cosmetic company using organic Shea butter as the main ingredient of all they skin and air product.
In the USA my competition is vast it includes company like Shea moisture, African pride, Carol’s daughter.
My competitive advantage is my easy access to raw material from my home country. I have no language or culture barrier that I am facing when I will have to negotiate with my supplier. This advantage will allow me to reduce production cost and sell my product at a lower price than competition.
