PART 2: CASE STUDY: (30% each question)
Fusta amb Cor has 20 solid wood tables in its warehouse. These tables are very special because you only need 3 types of materials to be developed. These are the solid wood board, four wrought iron legs and 8 screws to assemble the legs to the table. They have just received an order from a chain of restaurants asking for 150 units of these tables for the inauguration of 5 restaurants in a new country. Opening is scheduled for 10 weeks. In their warehouse they have 8 boards in stock, 36 legs and 45 screws. Considering that the table board has a lead time of 2 weeks to produce 25 units and legs of 1 week to produce 80 units. When should the company order the materials? What are the quantities of materials to be ordered?
