This is a good start. Overall, the paper will benefit from specificity, particularly in the executive summary and background sections with better reference to supporting evidence.
Where evidence has been used to illustrate your points, make sure al sources are cited.
The issues are well-defined although their international significance needs to be highlighted as well.
The solutions need to i) better match the issue – if the issue is public trust, then building more hospitals (solution 1) is not the most direct way to address this (e.g. think about UN/WHO-funded local outreach and awareness campaigns etc)
- ii) aim for multilateral solutions – calling on individual states to contribute with assistance, such as China alone, is not very feasible and/or effective, think about multilateral (regional, global) solutions instead involving more actors and necessitating collective action. It is highly unlikely that a single state will be willing to shoulder all of the responsibility in addressing another state’s core issues which presents a feasibility problem, i.e. why would state X want to assist on its own when burden-sharing through regional and global organisations is cheaper and easier to achieve?
The international dimension is clearer in solutions 2 and 3 but the above question on multilateralism and feasibility remains unaddressed.
Solution 3 – is it in your country’s bet interest to offer payment to a developed state like Germany?
Overall, think about addressing the following elements in your solutions:
– the main goal of each solution, which actors (countries/IOs) should be involved, within what timeframe should the goal be achieved and importantly, why is the solution feasible (e.g. why would other states/IOs agree to it).
