Modern Language Association (MLA) format for this formal outline (also called full-sentence outline) requires one (1”) inch margins from side-to-side and top-to-bottom. The best way to achieve this is to make sure your work is justified alignment NOT left alignment.
Your speech must show evidence of quality research, but it should be more than a summary of what you read. Avoid all mass media magazines such as U. S. NEWS & WORLD REPORTS NEWSWEEK, PEOPLE, etc. At least three (3) to five (5) maximum sources (different) such as one book, one interview, one internet, one documentary, one pamphlet (2010 or newer) scholarly references are nonbiased and should be included in your works cited page
A minimum of three (3) to a maximum of five (5) different quotes must be orally cited throughout the entire speech from different research resources such as a book, Web, documentary, interview, government publications, and pamphlets. Make sure your sources are as recent as possible—avoid any information (if possible) dated before 2010.
Quotes from your sources must be included and correctly cited in MLA format throughout the outline.
