Post analysis paper (portfolio conclusion)
Your post-analysis is a self-assessment that is done by the most important person in this process: YOU. Please reflect on your progress this semester, the work and learning you have done, and where you’d like to go after this class. Feel free to quote yourself!
This will be about two pages long, and will serve as the conclusion to your portfolio. In it, you will introduce the reader to your writings and reflect on your progress as a critical thinker over the semester. How has your definition of argument changed? What has been your most significant realization? How have the readings we have done this semester affected your interpretation and/or awareness of argument and its role in society? Please consider these, giving individual samples from several of your choice. Of course, you will want to cite the essays as you refer to them.
Has your awareness as a reader changed? What assignments and/or discussions have been the most interesting? Why or why not? Be reflective and honest here.
After looking through the writing you have done for this class, reflect generally on your writing and research. Is anything surprising to you? Did your learning go in the direction you expected? Explain. Of what writings are you most proud? Describe the work and tell why you selected it. How have you grown as a writer? What are your opportunities for continued improvement?
