Case Study Analysis
Instructions
You will write a 2-3 page reflection paper on each Case Study listed above. The goal of the paper is for you to think critically, identify and personally reflect/react to the presented situation, theory, treatment process. Please offer a critique and implement conceptual and practical knowledge on each topic by answering the following questions in each case:
- Identify the expressed problem.
- Using a 2 (two) Grief Theories of your choice, explain why these theories are most suitable for this Case?
- Which Stage(s) do the subjects fall under?
- Based on the field/department you would like to specialize (SOCIAL WORK), which subject would be your focusing on serving; what is their issue/concern (even if they are not the identified patient) and how would you provide treatment?
- What do you hope the result of your aforementioned treatment to be?
Paper Flow Example:
Case #: Title
FACTS: Provide a brief summary of the key facts bearing on the case. Do not repeat every fact of the case study in detail, but provide essential information that provides an adequate context for the discussion that is to follow.
ISSUES: Highlight the issues, tensions, and key concepts raised by the case. This is a good place to identify the answer to question #1 and #2 above.
SOLUTION: In this section you should provide the recommended approach or intervention based on the metaphor, concept, or approach that you selected (Answer question #3).
JUDGMENT: Provide your assessment of the likely results of your proposed solution (Question #4).
